Classic Car Artwork

America's love affair with the automobile is well documented. It's not only the boys who love their toys! The ladies have their favorites that can make their hearts beat a little faster when they see their first love beautifully restored too.

These small works are my original designs painted in acrylics on gessoed hardboard. Each is protected with a neat coat of varnish. They can be framed or, set on a small easel, make bright additions to a desktop, mantle or bookcase. Noted just before the price is the size of each painting in inches. Earl Scheib started painting "Any car, any color." in 1936. Their slogan became famous. I can custom paint any car any color! Just drop me a note at the bottom of this page with your request or for more information.

1955 Black Nomad Painting

The 50s was the decade of bright chrome in America. This classic '55 Nomad is an example of the kind of detail we loved. Thanks to the guys and gals that have invested so much to restore and preserve our fabulous automotive history.

Vintage Red Woodie Painting

I'm a vintage car enthusiast and retired surfer, so my love for those fabulous old Woodies comes naturally. Most of our American Woodies were made between the 1940s and 1960. When I see a spiffy restored Surf Wagon, well, I'll jump out of a moving car to snap a few pics.

VW Bug
Painting

I saw a beautifully restored VWtoday that reminded me of the sweet bugs I've owned. The VW Beetle was imported to the US in 1949 and they haven't changed much since that first little Bug rolled off the linet.

1963 Blue Corvair Painting

My first car was among the first compact, economical cars on the market, a 1960 Corvair. What a great little car and it's still humming along today.

Rich Burgundy Woodie Painting

Living close to the Pacific Ocean all my life has instilled in me a love of the sea. A respect and love for the Woodies that faithfully carried us with our surf boards to the beach is a warm memory for many.

'55 Yellow Chevy BelAir

'55 was a big year for Detroit's steel. Something magical must have gotten into the designers coffee because things really heated up for the next few years.

'57 Seafoam Green BelAir Painting

I can almost hear Dinah Shore singing "See the USA in a Chevrolet" just from seeing the beautiful fins on the '57 Bel Air. This American icon was complete with lots of chrome and pure style. Only 47,500 of these beauties rolled out of the factory, making her high on the list of demands for collectors.
